Rising 3E awarded national legal operations scholarship
The School of Law's rising 3E student Rachel Hileman is a 2019 Corporate Legal Operations Consortium (CLOC) Scholarship winner. The CLOC scholarship is for graduate degree students who have a business and metrics driven focus as it relates to the practice of law and have demonstrated an extreme interest in legal operations.
Hileman, along with nine other students, was awarded $6,000 for the 2019-2020 school year.
Hileman is currently an experienced Global Legal Operations Lead and is skilled in managing a team as well as managing daily legal operations projects for a local pharmaceutical company. Rachel received her Paralegal Certification from the School of Law and has worked in the past as a paralegal in a mid-sized firm in Pittsburgh that specialized in business law, estates and trusts, and school and municipal law.
Through her education at Duquesne and her involvement with CLOC, Hileman hopes to continue managing in-house legal department operations while driving the evolution of legal services.
