Criminal defense law firm is seeking a full-time paralegal. The position will provide overall support to multiple attorneys. The successful candidate will be tasked with conducting basic legal research and drafting court filings. Prior experience with Westlaw, Lexis or another legal search engine, and electronic filing systems such as PACER or PACfile highly preferred. Responsibilities will further include drafting and reviewing correspondence, expungements, pretrial and trial preparation, and calendar management. A demonstrated ability to work and learn independently while maintaining a high volume of assignments on strict deadlines will be critical. A desire to learn about/experience in criminal law a plus.
