PILA Auction

PILA Student Auction and Live Auction

The Public Interest Law Association holds not one, but TWO auctions each year!  Money is raised to directly support the Public Interest Law Scholarship, which helps our law students who have summer internships with their living needs.

The Student PILA Auction was held in the student lounge of the law school from March 28-31st.  Students only bid on professor and staff donations, many which included excursions around Pittsburgh, hosted by the professors.  This year, we had a Zoo Day, Dinner with a professor, Escape Room Challenge with 2 professors, a Bar Review Company Discount Coupon, and a Pinball Pentathalon with 4 professors up for offers!  There was a 50/50 raffle open to everyone, and 20 ticket raffle baskets to try to win, also open to everyone.

Alumni Spring Reception and PILA Live Auction

The PILA Live Auction was held during the Law Alumni Association's Spring Reception on Thursday, April 7th, in the Power Center Balroom.  This was a great opportuninty for law students to meet our alumni attendees, and to be a part of the food and festivities that come with the live auction.
