What brought you to Duquesne University?

An appreciation human science perspective in psychology and phenomenology. Duquesne's Clinical Psychology program was the only clinical psychology program that I applied to because of its human-science approach to psychology; I had planned to be a middle school teacher before pursuing psychology.

What has been your favorite part of higher education so far?

Academic: Getting to write, think and share my ideas about topics that I am passionate about like child development and ecopsychology

Extracurricular: Collaborating on academic and non-academic projects with other brilliant students and professionals.

What are you excited about in your field?

Discovering creative approaches to supporting children with exceptional needs and their families

Plans for the future?

Continue writing my dissertation in my hometown, spending some much-needed quality time with old friends and family, and attending internship next fall.

If you could spend a day with one celebrity, who would it be and what would you do?

I would co-host Saturday Night Live with Jennifer Lawrence
