Business

Business students are able to complete a minor or a second major in Catholic Studies. Adding Catholic Studies as a second major requires careful planning.

Health Sciences

School of Health Sciences students are generally able to complete a minor in Catholic Studies.

Students pursuing the Health Sciences major, in particular, can elect a second major in Catholic Studies with careful planning.

Liberal Arts

College of Liberal Arts students are able to complete a second major or minor in Catholic Studies on the normal 4-year degree plan.

A sample degree plan follows for a second major in Catholic Studies, based on a typical 30-credit primary major within the College. For a more challenging case, see this example of a Catholic Studies second major combined with the BS in Computer Science.

Note that this degree plan completes both majors effortlessly, with room for extra electives and taking almost no advantage of the ability for Catholic Studies and other courses to satisfy multiple requirements at once. Courses contributing to the Catholic Studies major in this example are in bold, but many other arrangements would achieve the same effect.
