In the fall 2021, the Jeffery S. Kelly Catholic Studies Term Scholarship was established. All declared Catholic Studies majors and minors are eligible for this scholarship.
The scholarship is applied at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters, except in the case when a declaration is made in the fall after financial aid is finalized, in which case the full amount will be applied to the spring semester.
Scholarships are in the amounts of:
- $2500 for all declared majors, renewable annually
- $1250 for all declared minors, renewable annually
It follows that a freshman who declares a Catholic Studies major will receive a total of $10,000 over 4 years, and a freshman who declares a Catholic Studies minor will receive a total of $5000 over 4 years.
You will find information on the procedure for declaring a major or minor on the Advising website.
