Graduate School Expo

Come network and meet with representatives from local graduate programs with masters and doctoral degrees in psychology including Carlow University (MS Professional Counseling), Chatham University (MS Counseling), Duquesne (Counselor Education and School Psychology), Indiana University of Pennsylvania (MA in Counseling and PsyD), Point Park (MA and PsyD) and University of Pittsburgh (MSW).
Applying to Graduate School Workshop

Interested in a career in psychology? Unsure of what degree you need to get there? Come learn about the different tracks of graduate school to get you to be the therapist, psychologist, counselor, or social worker you dream to be! You will learn about the requirements for graduate programs, how to apply, and what to be thinking about now as an undergraduate or soon to be college graduate.
The Psychology Department values experiential education. To provide students with structured opportunities for such learning, three different practica are offered: Arsenal Family & Children's Center, UPMC-Shadyside Hospital Elder Life Program, and a Forensic Psychology practicum opportunity that involves working with a local Psychologist.
Psi Chi is the National Honor Society in Psychology, founded in 1929 for the purposes of encouraging, stimulating, and maintaining excellence in scholarship, and advancing the science of psychology.
