Be Bold. Be You.

The Be Bold, Be You retreat that had been planned for Saturday, February 9, is canceled due to lack of response. Stay alert for an announcement of another Be Bold, Be You in the future.

At the next Be Bold, Be You retreat, you and other Duquesne students have the unique opportunity to experience a one-day event that will challenge you to be bold about your future. How will you stand out, step out, and make your tomorrow matter?

What is the “Be Bold, Be You” experience?

“Be Bold, Be You” is a one-day retreat designed to equip you to think about your future beyond the boundaries of a major or just getting a job after graduation. Over the course of the day, you will be guided to think through your purpose, plan, and pursuit of success.

Come with questions about your life, career, and aspirations and expect to gain insight into how best to answer these questions. Some of those questions might include:

  • So, who am I really?
  • What defines and inspires me?
  • Who do I want to become?
  • What makes my life significant?
  • What values are driving my decision-making?
  • How does my religious faith inform my career choice?
  • How can I see my future work as a vocation that will contribute to the common good of all?
  • What path should I pursue?
  • How will I get to where I want to go?
  • What am I doing to help get me there?
  • What should I be doing to help get me there?
  • What is hindering my ability to get there?

The day will focus on you with an agenda featuring speakers from our professional and campus community who are prepared to share their wisdom and experiences in order to help you be bold in making decisions about your future.
