Teaching the Digital Humanities

The McAnulty College of Liberal Arts, the Departments of History and English, and the Center for Teaching Excellence are co-hosting a roundtable and workshop on "Teaching the Digital Humanities."

Panelists will be:

  • Dr. Michelle Brock, Assistant Professor in the Department of History at Washington & Lee University
  • Dr. Jim Purdy, Associate Professor and University Writing Center Director in the Department of English at Duquesne University
  • Dr. Alison Langmead, Associate Professor and Director of the Visual Media Workshop at the University of Pittsburgh

All three speakers will talk about their application of DH techniques in the classroom, including multimedia demonstrations of their methods.

The event is open to the public.
