Amanda Bruce - B.M. Sacred Music (2011)
Amanda Bruce (née Plazek, B.M. Sacred Music, 2011) has accepted a position as the Associate Director for Marketing and Communications for the National Association of Pastoral Musicians (NPM). She will work full-time for the DC-based nonprofit, advocating for the importance of church music in the Catholic Church today. As Associate Director of Marketing and Communications at NPM, Amanda oversees NPM's social media, e-newsletters, and print and digital publications, making sure that sacred musicians have support for the liturgical needs they experience in churches today. She also produces a weekly podcast for NPM which discusses music, ministry and liturgy.
Previously, Amanda was the Director of Music Ministries at Mary, Queen of Peace Parish (formerly Saint Mary of the Mount Parish), a role which she held for 13 years (since her sophomore year at the Mary Pappert School of Music).
