Brian Querry (B.S. Music Education, 1998) served as guest conductor for the 2017 Armstrong County (PA) Sr. High Honors Band Festival. In addition, Mr. Querry was selected as a quarterfinalist for the 2017 Grammy Music Educator Award and as one of the 25 national semi-finalists for the 2016 Music Educator of the Year Award from Music & Arts.
Mr. Querry is a middle school music educator in the Burrell School District in Lower Burrell, PA, where he serves as music department chair and directs the middle school band program. In addition, Mr. Querry helped initiate the district's "BAM" (Burrell Arts & Music) Night, which showcases the musical, artistic, and theatrical talents of every student in the district, and sees a regular annual attendance of over 2,000 people.
