Christine Rushmore (B.S. Music Education, 2019) is currently in her second year as Choir Director for 6th- through 8th-grade students at T. Benton Gayle Middle School in Stafford County, Virginia. She teaches Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced chorus as well as Introduction to Guitar and Panther Chorus, an extracurricular ensemble. Since moving to Virginia, she has enjoyed singing with the Fredericksburg Community Chorus and Chamber Chorale of Fredericksburg. Although teaching music during the pandemic has presented challenges, she has embraced the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues and find creative ways to provide music education to students at home.
