Jenna Hayes (B.S. Music Education, 2015) Jenna studied Music Education at Duquesne University's Mary Pappert School of Music with a concentration in voice and choral music. After graduating, she taught middle school and high school music in the Butler Area School District and is currently teaching music and preschool at Fox Hill Preschool. She has served as the K-5 children's choir director for nearly five years at Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church. Ms. Hayes has also been a soloist at Calvary Episcopal Church and Saint Paul's Cathedral.
As a member of Belle Voci, she strongly believes in the choir's mission to "blend service with song." By leading the young singers in Giovani Voci she hopes to provide a creative outlet for the girls, as the women of Belle Voci mentor them. Together we all will use choral music to help women's organizations in the Pittsburgh area.
Jenna is thrilled to be working at the Stage Right Jr. Summer Theater Camp! She has previously held such positions as director, assistant director, choreographer, and producer of several plays and musicals at Fox Chapel Area High School. Led by Ms. Hayes, this second summer session, "Introduction to Theater" is for children ages five to seven and will introduce them to the basics of theater, the camp runs July 23-27.
