Rachmaninoff Duo

Raúl Mesa Javier Camacho

On January 26, 2019, the Rachmaninoff Duo, formed by Raúl Mesa (M.M. Performance, 2009) and Javier Camacho (M.M. Performance, 2010), won a four-hand piano competition organized by the Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo in Bogotá.

These two alumni performed for María José de Bustos, pianist, Yalilé Cardona, associate director of the International Classical Music Festival of Bo,gotá, Sergei Sichkov, pianist, and Juan Carlos Adrianzén, director of Theater Programming Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo. Their program included works by Schumann, Schubert, and Brahms, and, in addition to a cash award, the duo will have the opportunity to perform two recitals as part of the Bogotoá International Classical Music Festival in April 2019.
