Suzuki Cello Teacher/Intrada Ensemble Conductor

Born in Venezuela and resident of the city of Pittsburgh, started her cello and orchestral practice with the well-known Venezuelan music program "El Sistema." In 2004 received an Artist Diploma from the Mary Pappert School of Music, Duquesne University, and in 2006 graduated with a Master degree in Music Performance from the same school. In 2012 Carmen obtained her Suzuki Cello Teaching Certificate through Book 10 at the School for Strings, New York City, NY and the Chicago Suzuki Institute, Chicago, IL. Currently she is a member of the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra and a cello faculty at the City Music Center.
