Sharon is a piano instructor at City Music Center of Duquesne University. She earned her master degree in Piano Performance on Pedagogy Emphasis from Duquesne University in 2013. She has studied piano with Natasha Snitkovsky. In 2008, Sharon earned her Bachelor of Music degree in music education from Shanghai Conservatory of Music. She started to teach private piano lessons over 10 years since she was still a student in college.
The goal of her teaching is to provide educational opportunities for every student to develop fundamental musical knowledge and skills consistent with his/her abilities. Sharon believes that learning piano is not only about realizing music but also enhancing other life skills, such as patience, confidence, and good communication.

* As a Role Model: she always demonstrates a piece before students play because she believes it is helpful for students imaging the spirit of the music and enjoying the beauty of the piece.
*Characteristics: She prepares different lesson plans for each student depending on the personal needs and strengths.
*Patience and Enthusiasm: In her lessons, she is always enthusiastic and patient. She loves to communicate with students to give them advice and overcome their difficulties.
