Registration, Deadlines, & Payment Information
Students intending to take graduate courses may register themselves through DORI. Please visit the Registration page for details. Please contact Academic Advisor, Karen Kriss (412.396.5744) with questions and concerns.
NOTE: Students who are not enrolled in a Duquesne University degree program must contact Karen Kriss directly in order to register.
Students must be registered at least 14 days prior to the course's first day of class. Duquesne University reserves the right to cancel any course if minimum enrollment is not reached 14 days prior to the first class session, in which case all payments (including deposits) will be returned or applied to another course.
Students will be billed through the Student Accounts Office. Details on payment can be found here.
Each course is two graduate credits. Any course may be audited without credit; however, there is no tuition discount for audited courses. Courses can also be taken for continuing education units.
Tuition for all 2 credit courses is $634 per credit ($1,268 per course). For some courses, a materials fee may be required, and students should be prepared to pay up to $50 for that fee on the first day of class. Because summer tuition is lower than tuition in the fall and spring semesters, special rates and tuition reduction programs do not apply to summer session coursework. Payment for tuition can be made by check or money order. To use a Visa, Mastercard, or Discover credit card, students must register at portal.duq.edu and follow the instructions for payment. A 2.55% processing fee will apply to all credit card payments.
