Special Student Status
Special student status indicates a non-degree track course of study. Students entering the graduate school under this classification may take courses to fulfill work requirements, complete pre-requisites, or pursue advanced study in the fields of natural and environmental sciences. Students who demonstrate proficiency while studying as special students may apply to enter the degree-track programs.
International Students are generally ineligible for Special Student status, as International Student visa status requires that students pursue studies on a full-time basis.
