Minors in Env Science and Env Studies

Requirements for Minor in Environmental Science

Students enrolling in the Minor in Environmental Science have to fulfill the following prerequisites: BIOL 111, 111L, 112, and 112L, CHEM 121, 121L, 122, 122L, and MATH 115 (as they are required for the science electives). Up to six (6) credits can be accepted as transfer credits for these courses.

The required courses for the Minor in Environmental Science include ENVI 251: Principles of Environmental Science and a minimum of 12 credits from the courses listed below, all with a grade of C or better. Individual prerequisites for courses must be satisfied. Additional ENVI courses may be able to count towards Minor with CERE Director Approval. These 15 credits must be taken on campus.

Requirements for Minor in Environmental Studies

Students enrolling in the Minor in Environmental Studies do not have the science prerequisites. The required courses for the Minor in Environmental Studies include ENVI 251: Principles of Environmental Science and a minimum of 12 credits of approved minor classes, all with a grade of C or better.
