2022 Summer Workshop

The application is now open for the Eighteenth Annual Forensic Science and Law Workshop at Duquesne University, to be held July 24-29, 2022.

High school students from Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas are invited to apply to attend our student-led workshop, where FSL students and faculty will share their knowledge, skills, and love of forensics with aspiring forensic scientists!


Workshop Details

Dates: July 24-29, 2022

Location: Fisher Hall, Duquesne University

Fees: The cost of the program is $250, which includes a t-shirt, food, and lab supplies.

Scholarships: Scholarships are available to students with financial need. Winners of this scholarship will receive free registration to the FSL Summer Workshop. Four awards will be given. Scholarship applications must be received by Monday, June 20, 2022. All applicants will be notified of decision by July 1, 2022.

Application

The application for summer 2022 is now available!

Applicants must be high school juniors or seniors as of Fall 2022 with a minimum 3.0 GPA and have a strong interest in the sciences. Exceptional sophomore students as of Fall 2022 may also apply.

Students who are selected to participate in the Forensic Science and Law Workshop will be notified prior to July 1, 2022. A detailed schedule and additional information about the Forensic Science and Law Workshop will be emailed with the acceptance letter, along with instructions for sending payments.
