Study Abroad in Belize!

Duquesne University's Bayer School of Natural and Environmental Sciences is offering the 2020 Maymester Program in Belize, Central America. This four-week program will allow students of all majors to experience the country and culture of Belize, using a real, operating, environmental field research station as a base of operations. Belize is known for its' beaches and coastlines; mountains, caves and rivers; jungle flora and fauna; and people and diverse cultures. You will "learn by doing" as you experience these wonders of Belize.

Belize Tropical Field Station Project Background

The new Belize Tropical Field Station will provide a safe and secure location for students to learn in the field and conduct research alongside faculty. Here Duquesne students and faculty will have an opportunity to collaborate with the Institute of Professional Environmental Practice (IPEP), universities and colleges in Belize, local teachers, government officials and representatives of NGO's.
