Internships In Scientific Communication

This internship is for both The D.U.Quark, the student scientific journal on campus, and The Spectrum, the Bayer School newsletter.

Students will have the flexibility to design their experience. Internship responsibilities may include a combination of the following: writing, peer review, editing, layout design, promotion, outreach, marketing and mentoring. Students will also complete professional development training and reflect on their experiences in a public blog.

Students can be part of either publication without signing up for an internship, but the internship will give an opportunity for more consistent experience and training.
