Sexual Citizens: A Landmark Study of Sex, Power, and Assault on Campus

  • Via Zoom

DUSON's SANE Campus Network Program is hosting an event with the authors of Sexual Citizens: A Landmark Study of Sex, Power, and Assault on Campus, Jennifer S. Hirsch and Shamus Khan.

This live Zoom presentation will be November 10 at 7 p.m. ET.  Register now. You will receive details and a Zoom link closer to the event.

The authors interviewed over 150 undergraduate students to assess the social environment that leads to sexual assault on college campuses. Hirsch and Khan's book introduces terms such as "sexual projects," "sexual citizenship," and "sexual geographies," and provide a new framework and vocabulary to address this pervasive problem.

One CE contact hour will be awarded to participants who attend and complete the required evaluation. Duquesne University School of Nursing is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
