Dean Mary Ellen Glasgow to Join Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis National Advisory Council
Dean Mary Ellen Glasgow has been invited to serve as a member of the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis National Advisory Council (NAC). As a member of the council, Dean Glasgow will join other experts from across the country to advise on strategy and long-term plans for the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing, including strategies to achieve the vision, continuous improvement and evaluation of impact, and sustainability. Council members also serve as advocates for the School. This opportunity is a three-year service term.
The Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis was established in 2009 with a $100 million commitment from the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation. According to the School's website, its mission it to "lead innovative research, education and practice and prepare leaders who advance health, transform health care and ignite bold system change locally, nationally and globally."
