Faculty Present at Virtual SimPOW Meeting
On Saturday, February 27, 2021, faculty and staff presented at the SimPOW Virtual Session, which was attended by approximately 50 faculty from a number of schools.
The presentations shared information about the technology and projects at our Learning and Simulation Center, and included:
- "Virtual Deliberate Skills Practice in the Time of a Pandemic" by Bernadette Clark, MSN, RN, Learning and Simulation Center Coordinator, and Cara Morrill-Stoklosa, DNP, RN, Clinical Assistant Professor
- "Teaching Assessment Skills Virtually" by Susan Williams, MSN, RN, CHSE, Instructor
- "Teaching Nursing Skills and Implementing Simulation Scenarios in a Virtual Format: COVID-19 and Beyond" by Rosanna Henry, MSN, RN, CHSE, Assistant Dean for Clinical Skills and Simulation Education
SimPOW is the Simulation Alliance of Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia, and it offers simulation professionals the opportunity to discuss best practices and pain points in free, seasonal sessions and online forums.
