IV Sedation Mini-Residency Program for Dentists

❖ Increase access to care for fearful patients who would otherwise avoid treatment
❖ Improve your ability to safely manage patients who are medically compromised
❖ 60 lecture CE hours plus a minimum of 20 clinical patient cases for a total of 84 CEU

Our IV Sedation Mini-Residency Program teaches dentists how to create an environment where anxious and fearful patients become calm, comfortable and cooperative.

Throughout our didactic sessions and four-day clinical rotation, you'll learn:
❖ Moderate IV sedation techniques
❖ Patient evaluation
❖ Airway Management
❖ Management of complications

Classroom sessions feature hands-on simulation experience with SimMan 3G. Then, during your three-day clinical rotation, you'll get unmatched live patient training with a 1:1:1 Student:Patient:Faculty Ratio.

Upon successful completion, each dentist and team member will be prepared to safely administer moderate IV sedation in the dental office. The course meets or exceeds the "ADA Guidelines for Teaching of Pain Control and Sedation to Dentists and Dental Students."
