Admissions

Preparing for a career in pharmacy while still in high school means taking a series of classes emphasizing sciences, math, and communication. Succesful applicants need a strong grade point average and a competitive level of performance on the SAT and/or ACT. Students accepted from high school enter the pre-professional phase of the six-year Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) program.

Students moe from the pre-professional phase to the professional phase after successful completion of all pre-professional coursework and a competitive School of Pharmacy-based application process factoring in cumulative QPA, scores attained on the Pharmacy College Admission Test (PCAT), community service projects and a virtual interview.

The School of Pharmacy conducts the professional phase application process during the Fall semester of the second pre-professional year.
