2019 Graduate Takes Ownership Of Northeast Ohio Pharmacy
Alexis Benyo, Pharm.D., a 2019 graduate of the Duquesne University School of Pharmacy recently purchased the Lake Milton Pharmacy in Lake Milton, Ohio, keeping the pharmacy independent and locally-owned. Prior to the sale, Marshall Wexler owned and operated the Lake Milton Pharmacy for 41 years.
Benyo graduated from Austin Fitch High School in nearby Austintown, Ohio in 2013 and spent time shadowing Wexler at the pharmacy as a student pharmacist at Duquesne University.
"Owning my own business was something I always wanted to do," Benyo told WFMJ out of Youngstown, Ohio. "I knew owning my own pharmacy provided a unique opportunity to promote my values of providing exceptional patient care and stronger patient relationships."
Within the next few months, Benyo plans to begin offering and administering immunizations, such as flu shots and travel vaccines, while maintaining the same high level of customer service and personal attention customers have grown accustom to over the past 41 years.
