Dr. Wildfong Invited To Speak At The University Of Mississippi
Dr. Peter Wildfong recently received a Distinguished Speaker invitation to the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy, as part of their AAPS seminar series. Dr. Wildfong received a plaque to commemorate the occasion.
"It was a great trip, and I enjoyed meeting with the students and faculty," Wildfong said.
Wildfong is an Associate Professor of Pharmaceutics, and has been on the faculty at Duquesne University since 2004. He received an Hons. B.Sc. (1998) in Biochemistry from McMaster University and a Ph.D. (2004) in Industrial and Physical Pharmacy, with a graduate certificate in Materials Engineering (2004) from Purdue University.
His research focus is heavily oriented towards pharmaceutical materials science, where current projects seek to better understand how specific physico-chemical and structural properties of pharmaceutically relevant materials impact both large-scale manufacturing and final dosage form performance.
