Duquesne University Pharmacy Now Offering PDD Skin Test
The Duquesne University Pharmacy and Center for Pharmacy Care are now offering the purified protein derivative test (PPD), also known as the tuberculin skin test, to all University employees.
The PPD test is recommended for anyone known to have been exposed to tuberculosis and those who work in health care or travel outside of the continental U.S.
The cost is $15, including both the skin test and results reading, and is available in Room 215 A of the Duquesne Union, next to Health Services, and at the Duquesne University Pharmacy, located at 1860 Centre Ave.
