I graduated from Jackson High School in Massillon, Ohio in 2013. My whole family has a strong background in medicine and healthcare, so I began working in a pharmacy when I was 17. Right away, I knew it was for me. In pharmacy, we are able to improve a patient's quality of life directly by using our clinical knowledge. Pharmacists are the most accessible healthcare professionals, and I knew I wanted to be at the forefront of patient care. When looking at different schools, Duquesne's curriculum and location of the campus appealed to me most. The versatility of living in a downtown area but still having a safe and comfortable environment to live in was and still is one of my favorite things about Duquesne. In my spare time, I love to travel, play the piano and read.
Founded in 1878, Duquesne is consistently ranked among the nation's top Catholic universities for its award-winning faculty and horizon-expanding education. A campus of nearly 9,500 graduate and undergraduate students, Duquesne prepares students by having them work alongside faculty to discover and reach their goals. The University's academic programs, community service, and commitment to equity and opportunity in the Pittsburgh region have earned national acclaim.
It's time for bigger goals. Follow Duquesne University on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.
