Faculty Spotlight: Jordan Covvey

Dr. Jordan Covvey representing the Duquesne University Mylan School of Pharmacy on a service trip to Tanzania.Dr. Jordan Covvey presented two papers at the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) annual meeting held May 20–25 in Washington, D.C.

The first paper, Exploring The Association Between Statins and COPD: An Analysis of the 2009–2010 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, featured fellow Mylan School of Pharmacy faculty members Dr. Khalid Kamal and Dr. Vincent Giannetti as co-authors.

The second, Characteristics and Health Care Utilization Among Adults with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease According to Missed Work Status: A Retrospective Analysis of the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey, also featured Kamal among the co-authors.

ISPOR featurd both abstracts in the May 2016 edition of Value In Health.
