Marc Harrold Wins Excellence In Teaching Award
School of Pharmacy Professor Dr. Marc Harrold was presented with the Excellence in Teaching Award by the Duquesne University chapter of The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) at their awards and induction ceremony on April 7.
PY1 Student Pharmacist Margaret Buck, the society events chair of the Duquesne University Chapter of NSLS, stated that she asked members to nominate a professor who teaches with heart and passion and has motivated them in their pursuit of education."
"Dr. Harrold was nominated by multiple students as a professor who inspires and encourages his students," said Buck. "As one of Dr. Harrold's students, I can attest to his dedication to teaching and his efforts to help his students understand and apply the material he presents."
NSLS is the nation's largest leadership honor society, with 596 chapters nationwide.
