Mylan School of Pharmacy Student Diplomat Program
The Duquesne University Mylan School of Pharmacy is proud to introduce the new Pharmacy Student Diplomat Program. The Pharmacy Student Diplomats will be a select group of student pharmacists who have achieved high levels of academic and professional success to represent the school in various capacities.
To be considered, pharmacy students must fill out an application, available at the Student Services Desk on the third floor of Bayer Hall, online at duq.edu/pharmacy or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Applications are due Friday, Oct. 30, 2015.
Requirements to be a Pharmacy Student Diplomat include:
• At least a PYI in standing and active in a pharmacy student organization
• Passionate, enthusiastic, outgoing and knowledgeable about the Duquesne University Mylan School of Pharmacy
• Available and flexible in terms of schedule and willing to dedicate at least one hour per week to the Pharmacy Student Diplomat Program
The Pharmacy Student Diplomats will represent the Duquesne University Mylan School of Pharmacy by sharing experiences as a student via a weekly blog or vlog post, occasionally answering questions from prospective students via social media, and by being available for university authorized visits and programs.
Being a Student Pharmacy Diplomat also will allow for unique networking opportunities and résumé building by becoming a leader within the Duquesne University Mylan School of Pharmacy.
