How long have you worked at Duquesne and what roles have you held during that time?
I started working at Duquesne University in February 2017 as an Administrative Assistant for the Duquesne University Pharmacy, Center for Pharmacy Care, Continuing Pharmacy Education and Residency Programs.
How long have you been in your current role?
I have been with the Office of Experiential Education since March 2019.
Previous work experience:
Before working at Duquesne, I was a sales assistant at WTAE Channel 4. I assisted with information pertaining to commercials and reported the ratings to each client.
I'm currently studying for a M.S. in Higher Education Administration degree, so my free time is pretty limited these days. I do enjoy being outdoors with my kids and watching my daughter row and my son play soccer. I also like to take my stand-up paddleboard on the Allegheny River.
What you enjoy most about your job:
I enjoy the collaboration aspect in our office the most. It really is inspiring to work with a group of caring individuals who are focused on helping others achieve their goals.
Founded in 1878, Duquesne is consistently ranked among the nation's top Catholic universities for its award-winning faculty and horizon-expanding education. A campus of nearly 8,500 graduate and undergraduate students, Duquesne prepares students by having them work alongside faculty to discover and reach their goals. The University’s academic programs, community service, and commitment to equity and opportunity in the Pittsburgh region have earned national acclaim.
