I grew up about an hour north of Pittsburgh in the small town of Portersville, Pennsylvania. After graduating Slippery Rock Area High School, I chose to attend Duquesne University Mylan School of Pharmacy for the Doctorate of Pharmacy program. I loved the friendly, personal environment that Duquesne offered, so I knew it was the school for me. I selected to major in pharmacy because I have a passion for helping people and a strong interest in science and medicine. Currently, I am involved in many organizations on campus as well as my internship at the Medicine Shoppe in New Castle, Pennsylvania. I spend my free time hanging out with my family, traveling, and exploring Pittsburgh.
Founded in 1878, Duquesne is consistently ranked among the nation's top Catholic universities for its award-winning faculty and horizon-expanding education. A campus of nearly 9,500 graduate and undergraduate students, Duquesne prepares students by having them work alongside faculty to discover and reach their goals. The University's academic programs, community service, and commitment to equity and opportunity in the Pittsburgh region have earned national acclaim.
