School Of Pharmacy Alumnus Installed As PPA President

Charles KrayThe Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association recently named Charles Kray, RPh, a 1975 graduate of the Duquesne University School of Pharmacy, President for 2020-21 at the First-Ever Virtual Annual Conference held on October 1, 2020 via a live broadcast.

Kray currently is the President and Owner of Hershey Pharmacy and 3 other pharmacies in Dauphin and Lebanon Counties and serves as a member of the PharmPAC Board of Trustees for PPA.

In the past, Kray served as Director for Community Independent Pharmacists on the PPA Board of Directors and on the Independent Owners Legislative Advisory Committee. He also was the chair of the Finance and Building Committees for PPA and a board member of the Pennsylvania Pharmacist Care Network. In addition to his work with PPA, Kray is an active member of the National Community Pharmacists Association and the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists.

Outside of the world of pharmacy, Chuck was actively involved in his community, serving multiple terms on the Derry Township School Board and the Derry Township Tax Collection Association as well as
being a Deacon and Elder in his local church. He also has coached youth sports for many years, including the
Derry Township Middle School Soccer program.

Chuck lives in Hershey with his wife Sara and they have three children and six grandchildren.
