COVID-19 Study Abroad Updates
The Center for Global Engagement continues to work closely with university administration as the COVID-19 situation unfolds to ensure that our students can travel safely and be able to have rich study abroad experiences during their time at Duquesne.
Duquesne University study abroad programs have fully reopened since the Fall 2021 semester. Applications are OPEN for Fall 2022 for ALL semester-long study abroad programming, including our flagship Duquesne in Rome and Duquesne in Dublin programs.
All students participating in any study sbroad program through the University must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (as defined by the host country). The University's vaccine exemption process does not apply to study abroad. Not surprisingly, individuals participating in study abroad are subject to many requirements in addition to those established at the University. New decrees continue to be issued from various countries, and due to the evolving landscape, additional decrees can be anticipated. Due to our course and program schedules, noncompliance with these requirements would seriously impact the ability to complete the academic requirements of the program.
