Visiting Professor in Rome
Teaching for a semester at the Italian Campus is an unusual opportunity for you to enjoy the richness of a semester in Rome. It is also an opportunity for you to enjoy special interactions with Duquesne students who are living, studying, and traveling together in Italy.
Every academic year, a Duquesne University faculty member comes to teach two courses in their field during either a fall or spring semester at the Italian Campus. Below are some quick facts about this special teaching opportunity in Rome:

One visiting professor spot is available each academic year.

Approval from your Dean and Chair is required.

Visiting professors teach for one semester (a semester at the Italian Campus lasts for 90 days).

You will teach two courses which you will specifically design to take advantage of the unique resource of the location of Rome.

Duquesne supports you with a housing allowance, airfare, visa and immigration guidance, and an on-site staff in Rome.
