Course: ARHY 220B History of Photography
[Satisfies Core Theme Area - Creative Arts]
In this class, you will study the history of photography with special focus on the medium's early years in England. We'll experiment with early photographic processes in the classroom, and then we'll travel to historic sites in England such as Lacock Abbey, where the first photographic negatives were made. There are unique collections to see in London's great museums, and we will also have time for some of London's iconic sites such as the Tower of London.
