Course: ENGL 336 B01: The Writer's Sketchbook: Creative Writing (& Sketching) in Rome

This creative writing course focuses on seeing and discovering place, incorporating writing and informal modes of sketching to observe more keenly what's around us as we travel. Spending Spring break in Rome, with a day trip to Florence, we will visit historic sites like the Pantheon, the Vatican, and the Duomo to write and sketch; tour museums and relax by gorgeous fountains; learn about, cook, and eat Italian food; and wander through small shops, on cobblestone streets, and into stunning views to experience these Italian cities. No experience in creative writing or drawing is required.
