Grounded in Duquesne's academic strengths—sales, marketing, project management, finance, and accounting—this program equips you with the tools to enhance existing properties and lead new development projects. 

As a Real Estate major, you will gain real-world knowledge and skills in property development and management, real estate finance, investment analysis, project management, accounting, and tax rules applicable to the industry, and sales—then apply it directly to real estate through immersive cornerstone and capstone projects. Whether you dream of developing properties, managing investments, or transforming communities, this new major gives you the tools to plan, fund, manage and grow real estate ventures from the ground up.

Required Courses

A Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A.) requires a minimum of 120 earned credits, 51 of which must be from the Business Core courses. 

Students entering the School of Business are expected to inform their Student Success Coach about their career objectives and their desired major(s) and minor(s) and to consult with them when planning their program of study. The student's curriculum path must include the requirements of their specific major (listed below), University Bridges courses, and Business School Core courses.
