Requirements for Pharm.D. Transfer Students

The School of Pharmacy accepts applications from academically talented students seeking to transfer from accredited two and four-year colleges throughout the United States to transfer into the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) Program. Undergraduate transfer students may choose either the On-Campus program or the Online program.

Undergraduate transfer students who meet the course requirements and successfully complete the entry level six-year Doctor of Pharmacy program will be awarded a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy Foundations.

Minimum Requirements

• A minimum QPA of 2.5 is required for application. In order to be considered competitive, applicants must possess a minimum QPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Admission Requirements for Applicants with a Bachelor's Degree:

Prerequisite Courses (37 Credits)
These courses must be taken at an accredited 4-year college/university or 2-year community college.  Grades of "C" or better are required.

Completion of background check conducted by the School of Pharmacy through an approved vendor is required prior to matriculation.

Selected applicants will be invited to interview.

Admission Requirements for Undergraduate Applicants:

These courses must be taken at an accredited 4-year college/university or 2-year community college.  Grades of "C" or better are required.
