Duquesne University is passionate about preparing the next generation of educators who will make a meaningful impact in the field of education and their communities. Our Educators of Impact Scholarship offers scholarships up to $10,000 per year for eligible first-year students enrolling in our School of Education.
This scholarship supports students financially and encourages a strong commitment to education and community service, aligning with Duquesne University’s mission and values. Students are also eligible for other merit scholarships.
You must first apply to Duquesne as an education major by March 15 to be considered for an Educators of Impact Scholarship.
Scholarship Criteria:
- Incoming first-year students who enroll in the School of Education
- Minimum “B” average
- Holistic review considering academic achievements, curriculum strength, personal challenges, community contributions and extracurricular passions
- Commitment to community and education
- Promote educational excellence
- Maintain academic standards
Application Requirements:
- Apply to Duquesne University as an education major by March 15
- Academic records
- Applicants are encouraged to submit a FAFSA and/or CSS Profile (optional, but preferred in order to ensure maximum financial aid from all sources).
