Tuition and Fees for Academic Year 2020 - 2021

Duquesne University faculty and staff have prepared for exceptional conditions during the semester ahead in fall 2020 due to COVID19. They have adapted courses, out-of-classroom learning experiences, expected support services, and various aspects of student life. The very campus itself has new protective measures and physical changes, all to create an educational environment where teaching, learning, creative expression and academic research focused on the free exchange of ideas among a company of scholars can continue and thrive.

Through the course of the fall 2020 semester, there is no guarantee that the COVID-19 pandemic will not create conditions requiring the University to adapt again. Our planning has anticipated this. Duquesne is well prepared to switch to remote instruction, either on campus or, if it becomes necessary to close campus for health and safety purposes. Tuition and fees for the academic year reflect the measures taken to provide the highest quality education possible during these extraordinary times, as well as the continued opportunity for students to work with Duquesne faculty in their chosen programs and majors, whether in-person, in a hybrid arrangement, or remotely.

Office Hours

The staff in the Student Accounts Office will be working remotely to serve you between the hours of 8:30 to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Please email us at studentaccounts@duq.edu with your questions and include your Duquesne University nine-digit account number (beginning with the letter D) so we can locate your account.

To schedule a virtual appointment Monday through Friday, between 11:00am and 1:00pm, please email us at studentaccounts@duq.edu and put "Schedule Virtual Appointment" in the subject line of your email.

Fall 2020

CASHNet

CASHNet is the online payment gateway for student payments, payment plans, refunds, etc. Find more information here!

Please note that parents do not automatically have access to CASHNet. Students must add parents/guardians as Authorized Users in order to obtain their own log in information. 

eBills

Fall bills will be available in CASHNet on Friday, July 10. Bills are due on Monday, August 24.

Book Vouchers

Fall book vouchers will begin on Friday, July 10 and close on Friday, September 11.

Fall Payment Plan

Fall 2020 payment plan enrollment opens on Friday, July 10 in CASHNet. Find more information here.

Refunds

Students must enroll in eRefunds through CASHNet in order to receive funds via direct deposit.

Form 1098-T Paperless Option

Duquesne University has partnered with Heartland ECSI to offer you the opportunity to receive your 1098-T Tuition Statement electronically.  If you would like to receive your 2020 1098-T form electronically, please complete the 1098-T Electronic Consent form by January 1, 2021.
