Father Hogan's 80th Birthday Celebration
Greetings from Ireland!
Hello,
Greetings from Ireland! Although I was born and spent most of my life here in Ireland, part of my heart remains at Duquesne University. I remember all the wonderful students, faculty and staff that I developed friendships with over the years, and I remain in contact with many.
Most of all, I remember the students, the ones I taught in the School of Education and the ones I advised in the ATO fraternity. Because of these ladies and gentlemen, I developed the Father Naos McCool Endowed Fund to assist students as they continued their studies at the University.
This scholarship continues under the stewardship of my confrere, Father Sean Hogan. He continues to administer funds to students who need that assistance to register for class or anything that allows them to continue their studies. However, it is not ever enough.
I know that this pandemic has touched many of our lives, including the students at Duquesne. I am asking you to consider contributing a small amount to this fund that has helped so many over the years.
On a personal note, I am well and continue to improve every day. Please email me at mccool@duq.edu to say, "Hello" or connect with me on Facebook, which I check every day. If your travels take you through Dublin, please call me. I welcome your visit.
I thank you in advance for your generosity, and please know I keep you in my prayers always.
Love and respect,
Naos McCool, C.S.Sp.
