Financial Aid

Q:  What do I have to do to be considered for an academic scholarship?

A:  The academic scholarship you will receive from Duquesne is the scholarship based on merit. This will be determined by your high school GPA and your test scores, as well as your program choice.

Q:  How much does it cost to attend Duquesne?

A:  99% of freshmen receive some type of financial assistance. Typical cost including room and board and basic tuition comes out to $50,422, but with scholarships and aid, students will pay much less. Learn more about how we make Duquesne affordable.

Q:  How can I get a work study job?

A:  First, you and your parent(s) will need to complete the FAFSA online. If you qualify for work study, you would then have an interview with an office with an open work study position and will be informed if you were selected for the position.

If you do not qualify for work study, there are other jobs available for you on and around campus including Starbucks, Barnes and Noble, Parkhurst and PPG Paints Arena.
