Manager of Government and Community Relations
Since her arrival to Duquesne in October 2016, Alexandra Kozak has coordinated the implementation of Duquesne University engagement strategy with federal, state and local elected officials, government agencies and community organizations. She has more than ten years of experience in public policy and political outreach.
Previously, Kozak held the positions of District Director, Legislative Director and Senior Policy Advisor for the U.S. House of Representatives. She also worked in a government relations role for Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC lobbying on local, state and federal issues.
Kozak received a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Saint Vincent College, a Certificate of Study in British Politics from the University of Cambridge and a master's in Public Policy from California University of Pennsylvania. She serves on the Board of Directors for JDRF International, Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership's Young Leaders Committee and Junior Achievement's Government Relations Committee.
