2.5 Minute Ride
Written by Lisa Kron
Directed by John E. Lane Jr.
Starring Nancy Bach

Synopsis: 2.5 Minute Ride is written by Lisa Kron, the playwright and lyricist of the Tony Award Winning Fun Home. She takes the audience on a 2.5 Minute Ride that switches back and forth between Kron's journey to Auschwitz with her elderly father; her Michigan family's annual pilgrimage to Cedar Point amusement park; and her brother's marriage to his Internet bride. In moving seamlessly between these three stories, Kron creates a complex and at times startling meditation on how human beings make sense of tragedy, grief, and everyday life.

2.5 Minute Ride runs October 30 through November 3 at Duquesne University's Genesius Theater, adjacent to the Mary Pappert School of Music. Wednesday through Saturday performances begin at 8:00PM. Sunday performances begin at 2:00PM.

Ticket can be purchased for $20.00 (plus $1.99 online surcharge) through www.duqredmasquers.com or at the door.
