Join us for an Ask Me Anything event with Duquesne University's Executive Chef Tim Fetter, CEC, CCA. Part Culinary class, part spin off of a radio call-in show, attendees are encouraged to submit questions to Chef Fetter in advance to be addressed on the Zoom "show". Tune in to learn some of Chef's favorite kitchen hacks and get the answers to your cooking questions!
Executive Chef Tim Fetter is a 2001 graduate of the Culinary Institute of America (CIA). After completing his studies, Chef Tim worked for four years at the prestigious Duquesne Club, where he worked his way up the ranks to Sous Chef. Following his four years working at the club, he took his first position with Parkhurst and has served roles at St. Vincent College and Highmark before joining the Duquesne University community, Parkhurst's largest account, in the summer of 2013.
Chef Fetter has received numerous honors, including the 2012 Chef of the Year for the American Culinary Federation's (ACF), Laurel Highland's Chapter. He has competed in four ACF Hot Foods Competitions, earning one gold, two silver, and one bronze medals. Last year, Chef Tim was named to the Incline's Who's Next List for Food & Beverage for elevating Pittsburgh's dining scene.
He also serves as Chairman of the Board and past President of his chapter and is recognized as a Certified Executive Chef and Certified Culinary Administrator for the ACF. Chef Fetter is also a member of Parkhurst's Culinary Leadership Team, the Chaine des Rotisseurs, and serves on the Advisory Committee for Westmoreland County Community College's Culinary Arts Program and has partnered with Greater Latrobe School District and Grow Pittsburgh to provide cooking classes for children.
